The Eilers family (Kent, Tammy, Hannah, and Abigail) moved to Aberdeen Scotland in the fall of 2006 for doctoral studies at King’s College, University of Aberdeen. In December of 2008 we returned back to our home land as Kent finishes up his thesis. This blog serves the purpose of creating connectivity between us and our friends and family in the United States and around the world.

It’s been a pleasure to be able to keep up with your family via the blog. We have about five blogs in our favorites that we try to keep up with. Great to hear that your family is doing very well. God’s blessings Kent as you continue with your work tword your doctorite. Have a good spring.
We’ve had a lot of winter in Iowa, just like your parents experienced in Michigan. I’m on the BOD of World Missions and we had our Feb meeting in Houston, Texas so it was nice for Gloria and I to extend our time there for a couple of weeks and enjoy the sunshine in South Padre Island. Our family is doing very well. Some colds etc. but normal winter stuff. Gloria and I have been blessed with good health. We were blessed with our 8th grandchild in January and are looking forward to our 9th in May. I’m sure you know, but Travis and Teresa had a little girl in Jan and Steve and Tiff are expecting a little one in May. We love having them around.

Congratulations on the new position. I am so glad it is all going well with you all. Very jealous you went to Disney Land, Hannah looked more beautiful than the grown up versions of the characters. Abigail is growing fast. She has such a happy smile.
