This past weekend was the International Street Market in downtown Aberdeen.  We had such a beautiful day, and enjoyed the smells, sights, and diversity that makes this fair so unique.  There were countless stalls lining Union Terrace Street from all over the world, a few of our favorites were the Dutch pancakes, the sausages, and for Kent free tasting of [...]

Hannah loves the stories about Peter Rabbit, and we are quite convinced that we have found his home here in Aberdeen!  He lives with his little brothers under a giant tree in Seaton Park.  We even had the chance  to catch a glimpse of him with his little brothers scampering about near the tree the other [...]

Play Day

This past Tuesday was quite memorable for Hannah.  Her dear friend Betsy came over for the day while her parents were in the process of moving houses.  What fun was had!  The girls played so well together, and they got to do lots of “girlie” things: they were chefs in the kitchen and made marshmellow treats, artists which made quite the [...]

The [...]

We (or should I say Hannah and Preggo) were feeling the need for a bit of a slower day on Monday after the busyness of the past several days, so we all decided that day 2 would be a good day to stay close to the cottage.  A few things on our list were actually within walking distance from [...]

Last Sunday was the start our 4 day adventure around Central Scotland.
We first drove down to Stirling Castle and although we had just been there the previous week with the McDowells and Merricks, we just HAD to share the experience with my parents.
There is so much to see and do there that it has become one of [...]
