I am so grateful to God for good friends.
This past Friday the ladies from our BIBS group (Friday morning Bible study) got together at Katherine’s house for a lovely lunch and hang-out time! The kids (there were 13 of them in all between the 6 ladies) enjoyed playing outside and I don’t think Hannah left the trampoline for more than a quick bite before she was back to bouncing!
I enjoyed the friendly conversation, and was marveling at how big my little girl has gotten. No longer is she the shy little child often to be found on my lap in situations like this, but has made some great friends herself and was having such fun. I know those days of whole adult conversations and uninterrupted time with other ladies is probably quickly coming to a close, but I was relishing each moment…while at the same time feeling a bit sentimental and amazed that my daughter has grown up so fast!
I am bummed that I forgot to take to take a picture of the ladies…. Next time!
